Launched in 2001 the Taki 38 proved to be a true forerunner of the day cruisers.
The clean, teak covered deck lines are the result of an in-depth effort where the Japanese culture of the owner and friend Takashi blended perfectly with our project guide lines. Flush hatches, halyards and main sheets hidden below deck and all manoeuvrable with the two winches in the cockpit. All details are recessed: from the bollards to the gangway – ladder, from the built-in block and tackle that regulate the backstays to the anchor that exits below the water line. Neatness and the essentials – elements to be found below decks, too, where the contrast between applied technology and the refinement of the carefully chosen aesthetic selection becomes even more evident.
